AR82.60-P-0001-01TC Remove/Install Fiber Optical Cable Module For The Media Oriented System Transport (MOST)

1 Detach connector (31) from hands-free system control unit (A35/1) or voice control system control unit (A35/11).
2 Unlock connector lock (31) and pull out carrier (32).
3 Remove fuse (30) from carrier (32), unlock locks and remove damaged fiber optical cable module (x).
4 Cut off damaged fiber optical cable module (x) and strap down with insulation tape.
Model 211.0 only
5.1 Install new fiber optical cable module (5) in contact cavity 1 (input) of the connector for hands-free system control unit (A35/1) or voice control system control unit (A35/11).
5.2 Route new fiber optical cable module (5) from the connector for hands-free system control unit (A35/1) or voice control system control unit (A35/11) along existing the fiber optical cable connector (MOST) (X39/50).
Model 211.2 only
6.1 Install new fiber optical cable module (5) in contact cavity 1 (input) of the connector for hands-free system control unit (A35/1) or voice control system control unit (A35/11).
6.2 Route new fiber optical cable module (5) from the connector for hands-free system control unit (A35/1) or voice control system control unit (A35/11) along existing lines the fiber optical cable connector (MOST) (X39/50).
7 Expose the fiber optical cable connector (MOST) (X39/50) with the two fiber optical cable modules 4 and 5 in the left rear cable duct and unclip cover (36).
8 Remove the damaged fiber optical cable module 5 from the fiber optical cable connector (MOST) (X39/50), separate and strap down using insulation tape.
9 Install the new fiber optical cable module 5 in fiber optical cable connector (MOST) (X39/50) and clip cover (36) back on again.
10 Stow fiber optical cable connector (MOST) (X39/50) and the MOST fiber optical cable in the cable duct as per the guidelines.
Risk of breakage: Do not kink fiber optical cable, route over sharp edges or bend in radii smaller than 25 mm. Tensile forces on inserts must not exceed 65 N. Do not squeeze fiber optical cable and do not compress with clamps or tie straps.
