GF80.61-P-2010T Locking, Function
- with CODE (889) Keyless Go

Component Identification:

Lock

Lock Requirements:
^ Circuit 30
^ All doors closed (A)

Possible control elements for system activation:
^ Actuation of door handle switch
^ Actuate trunk lid keyless go button (S62/21)

Function sequence using driver's door as example
1. The left door handle switch (S17/19) is actuated by pressing the button on the door handle of the driver's door.
The keyless go system is waked up.

2. A wake-up signal is transmitted to the remote control key (A8/1).
3. The locating signals are transmitted from the keyless go trunk antenna A2/35, the left rear keyless go door control module (N69/8), the right rear keyless go door control module (N69/9) and the passenger compartment keyless go control module (N103).

The remote control key (A8/1) determines its position in relation to the vehicle.

4. The position of the remote control key (A8/1) is transmitted via the right antenna amplifier module (A2/65) to the rear module keyless go control module (N102).
5. Checking rear module keyless go control module (N102) according to valid remote control key (A8/1).
6. Transmitting access authorization code to EIS control module (N73).
7. If the access authorization code is correct the signal "closing CL" is stored on the CAN class B bus and the vehicle is locked.
Circuit 15 R is switched off, if applicable, and the steering is locked.
Errors occurring when locking are indicated by the instrument cluster.

Convenience closing
When the door handle switch is actuated for t > 1 s the convenience closing function is started. All windows and depending on the equipment the sliding/pop-up roof and panorama roof are closed.

Pinch protection:
If the door handle is pulled within 2 s after closing the vehicle, all power windows and, depending on the equipment, the sliding/pop-up roof or panorama roof are actuated in the "opening" direction for approx. 2 s.
