AR88.70-P-9040-01T Glue Slip Band Onto Outside Mirror Paneling
- with CODE (500) Folding left/right outside mirrors
- up to 31.5.06

Special Tools:

Repair Materials:

1. Fold outside mirror (1) toward front by hand and secure with mounting wedge (2) against folding back.







2. Clean bonding surface (shaded area) on outside mirror paneling (4)

Bonding surface (shaded area) must be absolutely free of grease and dust. Observe flash-off time for cleaning agent.







3. Loosen slip band (3) on side of carrier foil (5) and position at top of outside mirror paneling (4).
4. Completely remove carrier foil (5) from slip band (3) and press firmly to outside mirror (4) with aid of clean and soft rag.

Firmly press on slip band (3). Otherwise optimum adhesion of slip band (3) is not ensured.

5. Check whether slip band (3) is correctly glued all-round and if air bubbles are present







6. Remove mounting wedge (2) and fold back outside mirror (1)
