Function requirements:

^ Rotary light switch (S1) in "standing lamp On" or "driving lights On" position
^ Set rotary light switch (S1) to 2nd detent position "front fog lamp On".
Function
The driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) receives "rear fog lamp On".
^ In model 211.0 this signal is relayed via CAN class B to the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
^ In model 211.2 this signal is relayed via CAN class B to the rear door control unit (N1111).
The yellow rear fog lamp indicator lamp (S1e2) in the rotary light switch (S1) visually indicates "rear fog lamp On".
On model 211.0:
The following components are actuated by the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2):
^ Outer left taillamp, parking lamp, rear fog lamp (E3e2), inner left taillamp, rear fog lamp (E3e5)
^ Outer right taillamp, parking lamp, rear fog lamp (E4e2), inner right taillamp, rear fog lamp (E4e5)
On model 211.2:
The following components are actuated by the rear door control unit (N111):
^ Left rear fog lamp (E3/1e5)
^ Right rear fog lamp (E4/1e5)
For vehicles with code (550) Trailer hitch, the signal "rear fog lamp On" is transmitted by the driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) to the trailer connection unit [AAG] control unit (N28/1), which applies the signal "rear fog lamp On" to the trailer hitch socket (13-pin) (X58).
