AR82.60-P-0001-01TD Remove/Install Fiber Optical Cable Module For The Media Oriented System Transport (MOST)
- with CODE (349) E Call emergency call system
- with CODE (380) Preinstallation for MB phone "CTEL", complete
- with CODE (382) MB telephone "CTEL" in armrest


1 Disconnect connector (31) from the corresponding control units.
2 Unlock connector locks (31) and pull out carrier (32).
3 Remove fuses (30) from carriers (32), unlock locks and remove damaged fiber optical cable module (x).
4 Cut off both ends of the damaged fiber optical cable module (x) and strap down with insulation tape.







5 Remove the new fiber optical cable module (xx7) from the connector (33) and the carrier (34).

Connector (33) and carrier (34) are no longer required.







Model 211.0 only

6.1 Install new fiber optical cable module (xx7) in contact cavity 2 (output) of the connector for hands-free system control unit (A35/1) or voice control system control unit (A35/11)
6.2 Route the new fiber optical cable module (xx7) along existing lines to the telephone interface (A34/4) or the Universal Portable CTEL Interface (UPCI [UHI]) control unit (N123/1).
6.3 Install the new fiber optical cable module (xx7) in contact cavity 1 (input) of the connector for the telephone interface (A34/4) or the Universal Portable CTEL Interface (UPCI [UHI]) control unit (N123/1).







Model 211.2 only

7.1 Install new fiber optical cable module (xx7) in contact cavity 2 (output) of the connector for hands-free system control unit (A35/1) or voice control system control unit (A35/11).
7.2 Route the new fiber optical cable module (xx7) along existing lines to the telephone interface (A34/4) or the Universal Portable CTEL Interface (UPCI [UHI]) control unit (N123/1).
7.3 Install the new fiber optical cable module (xx7) in contact cavity 1 (input) of the connector for the telephone interface (A34/4) or the Universal Portable CTEL Interface (UPCI [UHI]) control unit (N123/1).







8 Complete all connectors again and connect to the corresponding control units.

Risk of breakage: Do not kink fiber optical cable, route over sharp edges or bend in radii smaller than 25 mm. Tensile forces on inserts must not exceed 65 N. Do not squeeze fiber optical cable and do not compress with clamps or tie straps.
