Seat Calibration Function

Calibration
For functions:
- Head restraint presetting
- Easy entry/exit

If an assignment is necessary between the absolute position of the adjustment and the position detected by the
- left front seat adjustment with memory control module (N32/1) or
- right front seat adjustment with memory control module (N32/2).

This assignment is produced by a calibration procedure in which the individual adjusters have to be moved to the following stop positions:
- Forward/back adjustment front stop
- Head restraint adjustment bottom stop
- Angle adjustment top stop
- Height adjustment top stop
- Seat cushion forward/back adjustment rear stop
- Backrest adjustment front stop

Actuation must continue for min. 250 msec. after the relevant stop is reached, the
- left front seat adjustment with memory control module (N32/1) and the right front seat adjustment with memory control module (N32/2) switches the drive off after the stop is detected.

NOTE:
Easy entry/exit
- In order to make it easier to leave the vehicle, the driver's seat and the steering column are moved to entry/exit position (seat moved back and steering column raised): this function can be activated/deactivated in the Instrument cluster (A1).
