Repair materials:

Component Identification:

1 Clean the area around the threaded insert (50a).
2 Unscrew union nut (50c).
3 Remove fitting (50b) from threaded insert (50a).
4 Remove threaded insert (50a).
5 Clean threaded insert (50a) and threaded hole in differential.

The threaded insert (50a) and threaded hole must be free from oil and grease.

6 Coat about one droplet of sealant on the second or third thread of the threaded insert (50a).
7 Screw the threaded insert (50a) into the differential immediately and tighten to the specified torque.
8 Screw the fitting (50b) into the threaded insert and tighten to the specified torque

Install new seal (2).

9 Screw on union nut (50c) and tighten to the specified torque.

Install line free of tension.
