AN82.70-P-8916-06RA Retrofit Handset In Armrest
1 Open center armrest and unclip cover (2) from stowage shell (1) (retaining lugs - see arrows).
2 Break preperforated cutout out of stowage shell (1) (see arrow, right figure)
3 Clip connector housing (4b) of long data line (4) into stowage shell (1) cutout from rear (see magnified section).
Use data line with a length 490 mm.
4 Unscrew bolts (2).
5 Clip long data line (4) into cutout of left hinge lever (5l) (see arrows).
Do not damage long data line (4).
Press hinge lever (5l) slightly to side.
6 Retighten screws (2).
7 Clip cable guide (6) with long data line (4) into bracket and route as shown in figure.
8 Route circuit 15C telephone connector 15C(X39/40) through left passage in armrest (see magnified section).
9 Clip long data line (4) into retaining lug (see arrow).
10 Clip connector housing (5b) of short data line (5) into cover (7) (left figure).
Ensure correct seating.
Length of data line: 360 mm
Component Identification:
11 Make preperforated passage in handset mount (8) (arrow, right figure)
Perform cut at correct side of handset mount (8) .
12 Install cover (7) with short data line (5) with 2 M4X8 mm screws (9) on retaining plate (10).
Screw holes are present.
13 Install handset bracket (8) on retaining plate (10) next to cover (7) with two M4X8 mm screws (11).
Screw holes are present.
14 Insert short data line (5) into intended arresting slots (arrows) below retaining plate (10).
15 Remove coin holder (16) from stowage shell (1).
16 Cut preperforated cutouts (15) out of coin holder (16).
17 Connect connector of short data line (5) with connector housing (4b).
18 Lay retaining plate (10) into stowage shell (1) and fasten with four 3X8 mm countersunk screws (17) from below.
Screw holes are preperforated.
19 Reinstall coin holder (16).
20 Position armrest on center duct.
21 Connect TEL circuit 15C separation point (X39/40) and clip into armrest retaining lugs (see arrows).
22 Arrest telephone handset (A34) in handset mount and connect in connector housing (5b).
