GF80.61-P-2010RS Lock, Function
- with CODE (889) Keyless Go
Component Identification:
Function requirements
^ At least one transmitter key (A8/1) is located outside the vehicle
^ All vehicle doors are closed.
^ Circuit 15C Off.
^ The transmitter key (A8/1) is located in the reception area.
Function sequence using driver door as an example
If the left door push contact on the left door actuator (S47) is pushed, the Keyless Go control unit (N69/5) causes the transmitter key to transmits its drive authorization code via the left Keyless Go door antenna (A2/38) A8/1This access authorization code is relayed to the overhead control panel control unit via the right antenna amplifier module (A2/65) N70 The EIS control unit (N73) checks the drive authorization code of the transmitter key (A8/1) and transmits, if valid, the signal for "Lock" to the PSE control unit (combined) (A37).
The PSE control unit (combined) (A37) unlocks both doors, the tank cap and the trunk.
Successful locking is signaled by a momentary flashing of all turn signal lamps three times.
If the transmitter key (A8/1) is located in the interior compartment or in the vehicle trunk, this is indicated by the instrument cluster and the vehicle cannot be locked.
Convenience closing
The function sequence for convenience closing is the same as for locking a door.
If the left door push contact or right door push contact is actuated and held for a longer period of time, any windows opened and the Vario roof are closed.
When releasing, the procedure is stopped and is continued when actuated again.
If an obstacle or pinching is recognized by the user during convenience closing, the function can be interrupted by pulling a door handle once (actuating left door pull contact microswitch or right door pull contact microswitch). The windows are then opened slightly.
