Vario Roof Stop Function, Function
Vario Roof Stop Function, Function
Function prerequisites:
- No overvoltage/undervoltage
- Crash actuation not active
- Vario roof not in locked end position
- Changeover from circuit 15 OFF to circuit 15 ON
If an active Vario roof operation is interrupted by rescinding the actuation request and the Vario roof is not a locked end position, it is necessary for the solenoid valves for the Vario roof to be actuated again so that the Vario roof cannot move.
If the Vario roof sequence is discontinued during an active actuation request due to incorrect or missing input values, the Stop function is also actuated when the Vario roof is not yet in a locked end position.
The following solenoid valves are actuated for the Stop function:
- Tubular frame solenoid valve and Vario roof locks (Y55/1y5)
- Vario roof open solenoid valve (Y55/1y4)
- Vario roof closed solenoid valve {Y55/1y5)
Function sequence
The Stop function is switched off after expiration of the holding time of 7 min or in the event of a change from circuit 15 ON to circuit 15 OFF within 15 sec
NOTE: All four side windows are opened completely 5 sec before expiration of the Stop function to avoid hazard of pinching between the side windows and Vario roof.
When the Stop function is switched off, first the Vario roof open/close solenoid valve is switched off so that the Vario roof moves to its end position under its own weight. The solenoid valve for the tubular frame and Vario roof locks (Y55/1y5) is switched off 5 sec later.
NOTE: All times listed can be changed with STAR Diagnosis.
