GF91.29-P-3004R Code-related Storage Block Selection

Function
The driver seat position is stored in the left front seat adjustment with memory control module (N32/1) (RHS model: right front seat adjustment with memory control module (N32/2)) on a key-related basis.

The EIS control module (N73) converts the key rail that is currently in use into a storage block number. If key dependency is enabled, there is a standard assignment between the key rail and the memory block number as per the following list. This is transmitted cyclically over the interior CAN.

If key-dependency is switched off in the instrument cluster (A1), all the settings are assigned to memory block number 3.

If the key-dependency is switched off, the EIS control module (N73) transmits only the memory block number 3.

Key-dependency in the instrument cluster (A1) : ON Key rail:

1 2 3-8

Memory block number from EIS control module (N73)

1 2 3

Memory switch (S91/2s9) of left seat adjustment switch group (S91/2); or memory switch (S92/2s9) of right seat adjustment switch group (S92/2) is output by the relevant left door control module (N69/1) or right door control module (N69/2):

1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 3

Memory area in relevant (LHS / RHS) left front seat adjustment with memory control module (N32/1) or right front seat adjustment with memory control module (N32/2)

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

The following settings are put into key-dependent storage if this has been activated:
^ Driver's seat position
^ Steering column position
^ Outside rearview mirror position
^ Mirror park position
^ Air conditioning settings
^ Settings in instrument cluster
