Component Identification:





In the event of the driver changing the air pressure, in the event of exchanging a wheel or changing a tire, the adjusted air pressure values must be stored in the TPM [RDK] control unit (N88) as specified monitoring values.

Proceed as follows:
^ Correct the air pressure at each wheel.
^ Switch on ignition (circuit 15).

Engine ON or OFF.





^ Use the scroll forward/back button (S110s1) to select the tire pressure monitoring system.

Component Identification:





^ Press the instrument illumination rheostat and reset button (A1r1).





^ The previous pressure value display changes to selection display with preselection "No".





Selection screen
^ Press the "+" button on the + and - button (setting specific functions and volume control) (S111s1) on the multifunction steering wheel. The selection display with selection "Yes" appears for approx. 2 seconds.

All other buttons cause the activation sequence to be aborted.





Confirmation screen
^ The selection display with selection "Yes" then changes to the confirmation display.





^ Once the engine has started the pressure value display ensues immediately without numerical values.

If the activation is carried out when the engine is running, this display takes place with a time delay of approx. 30 seconds.





^ The current tire pressures are displayed after driving for approx. 10 minutes. The activation process is complete.
