Component Identification:
In the event of the driver changing the air pressure, in the event of exchanging a wheel or changing a tire, the adjusted air pressure values must be stored in the TPM [RDK] control unit (N88) as specified monitoring values.
Proceed as follows:
^ Correct the air pressure at each wheel.
^ Switch on ignition (circuit 15).
Engine ON or OFF.
Use the scroll forward/back button (S110s1) to select the tire pressure monitoring system.
Appears only if ignition is not switched on.
Selection display
Message to reactivate tire pressure monitor
This message asks the driver to reactive the system. This is required if the tire inflation pressure was corrected or if the tires were changed.
Component Identification:
Press the instrument illumination rheostat and reset button (A1r1).
System messages
This display appears as a message if the tire pressure monitor was reactivated.
Information messages
This message is displayed until the individual pressure values can be assigned to the wheel positions. The four tire pressures are then displayed.
This message appears when the activation process is complete.
