Risk of death
Failure to observe the following accident warnings may result in life-threatening injuries.

Risk of accident
Uneven or inexact alignment of the lifting platform arms and/or their support plates, or the supporting or lifting of components on the vehicle poses a risk of slipping.
Uneven load distribution following the removal of major assemblies or axles poses a risk of toppling.

Safety precautions/instructions
- Center vehicle lengthwise and crosswise between the lifting platform columns.
- When supporting components, ensure that the vehicle does not lift out of the lifting platform support plates.
- Position all support plates at the same height at support points.
- Slightly raise the vehicle (with tires still in contact with floor surface) and check for correct seating of the support plates on the vehicle support points. Then raise vehicle to desired height.
- Before removing axles or assemblies, secure vehicle to lift platform and/or place sandbags in vehicle to provide counterbalance.

In Germany, lift platform operators must observe the following regulations and guidelines: "Berufsgenossenschaftvorschrift (BGV) D29 fur Hebebuhnen" and the guidelines issued by the lift platform manufacturer.
In other countries, operators must comply with all relevant statutory and accident prevention regulations.
