Reading the telephone book
After the voice command "Listen to the telephone book" the voice control system (VCS) reads aloud the names which are stored in the telephone book. If, while reading out a name, the VCS switch (S93/2) is moved in driver direction, then this name is selected and a question is asked regarding whether the private, business or the CTEL number should be dialed.
Actions in the telephone book
It is possible to have the phone book read aloud and the individual entries opened or closed, depending on the voice command, using the VCS [SBS] switch (S93/2) by pulling it towards the driver. If an entry is assigned to the voice appendix, then the entries can be spoken for each language. In addition the voice recognizer is operated in compound word mode, words as well as vocabulary dependent of the speaker or independent of the speaker is recognized.
Delete telephone book
The voice command "Delete telephone book" makes it possible to delete all or individual telephone book entries.
Select name
Using the voice command "Select name" telephone numbers can be selected from the telephone book, with the associated name being entered via voice. The entry depends on the speaker and can only be called up again reliably by the person who stored it.
Deleting a name
Entries can be deleted from the telephone book using the voice command "Delete name". Here a distinction is made as to whether the entry has been produced by speaking or whether it is an entry which was prepared via the keyboard of the audio unit. The complete entry is then only deleted when the entry has been prepared via the VCS.
Navigate key word (Voicetag)
If only a "Geocode" for a voice command is stored in the telephone book then the navigation of the navigation component of the audio unit is started with it. Otherwise it will be asked whether the business or private address should be selected. However this can also be selected directly via a key word.
Select keyword (Voicetag)
If only a telephone number is stored in the telephone book, this is selected immediately. Otherwise it will be asked whether the home number, mobile phone number or home number should be selected.
However this can also be selected directly via a key word.
Delete keyword (Voicetag)
Key words can also be deleted from the telephone book using the voice command "Delete key word (Voicetag)". Here it is distinguished whether the entry has been produced by voice or whether it is an entry which has been prepared via the keyboard of the audio unit. The complete entry is then only deleted when the entry has been prepared via the VCS. Otherwise, only the keyword is deleted, and the remaining data in the entry are retained.
Displaying and processing an entry
An entry, for which a key word has already been assigned, can be displayed on the display of the audio unit by voice input. Entries that have not been assigned a spoken keyword can be selected by spelling out. Spelling out can also be triggered in the base menu of the telephone book by the corresponding control button (Softkey) in the control panel of the audio unit.
The user can now select from the numbered list of names an entry, the "Picklist" (contains the recognition results recorded in the telephone book) by either typing in the number of the desired entry on the telephone keyboard of the audio unit or by speaking the number of the number of the desired entry. It is possible to scroll onto the page with the voice command "Forward". The voice command "Back" takes you back to the previous page It is possible to exit the current "Picklist" with the voice command "Correction". The opened entry can then be processed or used via voice command. To do this, the voice recognition has to be restarted by using the VCS switch (S93/2).
Store name
If an entry is opened, a key word can be assigned to this entry with the voice command "Store name"
Store telephone number
If an entry is open, then a telephone number for this entry can be stored with the voice command "Store telephone number".
Dial
If only one telephone number is stored in the entry, then this is dialed immediately, otherwise the question is raised as to which of the telephone numbers should be dialed. However it is also possible to specify the desired telephone number immediately, the voice command "Home", "Mobile" or "Work" being added in addition to the voice command "Dial".
Delete telephone number
If only one telephone number is stored in the telephone book, then this is deleted by the voice command "Delete telephone number" otherwise it is asked which telephone numbers should be deleted.
Listening to names
For the opened entry you can hear the key word assigned to this entry via the voice command "Listen to name".
Deleting a name
For the opened entry it is possible to delete the assigned key word for this entry with the voice command "Delete name".
Navigating
The "Geocode" entered in the telephone book can be transferred to the navigation system. If only one "Geocode" is stored, the navigation is started. Otherwise, the systems asks whether it should guide the user to the business or private address. However the voice command "Navigation-work" or "Navigation-home" can also be entered directly. If no valid "Geocode" is stored, this is fed back acoustically.
Telephone book help
The VCS reads aloud the help text for the telephone book after the voice command "Telephone book help". The help text depends on the which help is requested:
^ Outside the telephone book
^ Telephone book, list of names shown
^ Entry opened
