The left front power window motor (M10/3) and the right front power window motor (M10/4) are DC motors which can turn clockwise or counterclockwise depending on the polarity of the armature voltage. Both are protected against overheating by a temperature protection switch They are equipped with 2 Hall sensors each for position recognition.

The left door control module (N69/1) actuates the left front power window motor (M10/3) and evaluates the Hall sensor signals The right door control module (N69/2) actuates the right front power window motor (M10/4) and evaluates the Hall sensor signals
