GF72.29-P-4003T Normalization Of Power Windows, Function
The count status for position recognition is linked with the actual position of the side window by normalization in the corresponding left front (N69/1), right front (N69/2), left rear (N69/3) or right rear (N69/4) door control module
The following control modules must be normalized:
^ Left front door control module (N69/1)
^ Right front door control module (N69/2)
^ Left rear door control module (N69/3)
^ Right rear door control module (N69/4)
Normalization must be performed whenever denormalization has taken place.
When the windows are not normalized, the corresponding left front door control module (N69/1), right front (N69/2), left rear (N69/3) or right rear (N69/4) have no information regarding the end position of the corresponding side window and cannot perform the automatic raising function.
For this reason, normalization is the prerequisite for the "Automatic raising" function of the power window.
Performing normalization
move the relevant window with the power window switch into top block position and continue operating switch in the manual closing function. The left front door control module (N69/1), right front (N69/2), left rear (N69/3) or right rear (N69/4) sets the counter for position recognition to zero if it has recognized a lockup of the motor for min. 0.3 s The window is now in the normalized state, i.e. the left front door control module (N69/1), right front (N69/2), left rear (N69/3) or right rear (N69/4) can now switch off the motor before reaching the mechanical stop when opening and closing the window.
Renormalization
The left front door control module (N69/1), right front (N69/2), left rear (N69/3) or right rear (N69/4) automatically performs renormalization, if an error has occurred in the position recognition, e.g. the position counter is negative.
On model 211.6, the number of the power window motors and door control modules in the rear can vary depending on the equipment and special body
