GF54.21-P-4101-03S Left Signal Acquisition And Actuation Module, Task

The left front SAM control module (N10/6) has the following tasks:

Actuating:
- the wiper system,
- the headlamp cleaning system,
- the steering column adjustment,
- exterior lights,
- the A/C compressor,
- the anti-theft alarm system,
- of the wake-up signal of the air suspension (model 220 only).

Scanning the following switches:
- exterior lamp switch (S1),
- brake fluid indicator switch (S11),
- parking brake indicator switch (S12),
- HCS [SRA] switch (S1s1),
- steering column driving position microswitch (M20s1).

Reading in following sensors
- coolant temperature sensor (B11/4),
- outside temperature display temperature sensor (B14),
- refrigerant pressure sensor (B12),
- Hall sensor of fore/aft longitudinal adjustment motor (M20m1) and height adjustment up/down motor (M20m2),
- Left front brake pad contact sensor (S10/1).

Scanning the following signals:
- Circuit 15,
- Circuit 15R,
- Wiper motor cam control.

Switching of consumers:
- Lamps of exterior lights,
- Wiper motor (M6/1),
- Steering column adjustment motor group (M20),
- Alarm signal horn with additional battery (H3/1).

Switching the following relays:
- Wiper park position heater relay (K40/6kA),
- Circuit 15 relay(K40/6kB),
- Circuit relay 15R (K40/6kC),
- Jacket tube longitudinal adjustment relay 1(K40/6kD),
- Jacket tube longitudinal adjustment relay 2 (K40/6kE),
- Wiper stage 1 and 2 relay (K40/6kG),
- Wiper On and Off relay(K40/6kH),
- Jacket tube height adjustment relay 1 (K40/6kI),
- Jacket tube height adjustment relay 2 (K40/6kJ).

The left front SAM control module (N10/6) is connected to the interior CAN for the exchange of data.
