Model 171
55/2 Fuel filter with fuel pressure regulator
B4/3 Fuel tank pressure sensor
The fuel tank pressure sensor is located above in the fuel filter with the fuel pressure regulator.
Models 203, 209
B4/3 Fuel tank pressure sensor
The fuel tank pressure sensor is located above in the seal for the left fuel tank chamber.
Models 215, 220
B4/3 Fuel tank pressure sensor
The fuel tank pressure sensor is located at the top in the fuel level sensor (B4).
Task
The fuel tank pressure sensor detects the internal pressure of the fuel tank for the purposes of checking the leaktightness (leak test) of the fuel system.
Function
The fuel tank pressure sensor detects the internal pressure of the fuel tank and sends an appropriate voltage signal to the ME control unit (N3/10).
The voltage supply of 5 V is performed by the ME control unit.
The measuring range extends from approx. - 50 mbar up to approx. + 30 mbar.
