Check

DANGER:
- Risk of explosion from electrolytic gas. Risk of poisoning and irritation if battery acid is swallowed. Risk of injury through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-add batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.


1 Check condition of battery

Remove/Install
2 Remove battery
3 Connect battery charger

CAUTION: Do not reverse polarity. Risk of short circuit!

4 Charge battery.
Normal charging:
- Charging current max. 10 % of battery capacity: e.g. max 10 A charging current for a 100 Ah battery.

Quick charging:
- Charging current max. 50 % of battery capacity for 30 minutes: e.g. max. 50 A charging current for a 100 Ah battery.

5 Check battery

NOTE: Determine findings and replace battery if necessary.

6 Disconnect battery charger
7 Install in the reverse order
