GF82.10-P-2008Q Light Warning, Function
GF82.10-P-2008Q Light Warning, Function
Component Identification:
Light warning function with standing lamp or driving light switched on manually
Basic conditions:
^ Via the CAN interior (CAN-B) the instrument cluster (A1) receives the CAN message, that the transmitter key (A8/1) is in the electronic ignition switch control module (N73)
^ The light switch module (S1) is set to "Standing lamp ON" or "Driving lights ON"
^ The left door contact switch (S17/3) is opened.
Function
The transmitter key (A8/1) is removed from the electronic ignition switch control module (N73).
The left front door is opened.
The rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) detects the open door from the signal of the left door contact (S17/3) and transmits the CAN message "door open" to the instrument cluster (A1) via the interior CAN (CAN-B).
The instrument cluster (A1) detects the CAN message "door open" and "standing lamp ON" from the interior CAN (CAN-B). The acoustic light warning function is thus triggered.
Light warning function with standing lamp or driving light which are automatically actuated (sensor-controlled)
Function requirements:
^ Engine off "terminal 61 OFF"
^ The light switch module (S1) is set to "AUTO"
^ Via the CAN interior (CAN-B) the instrument cluster (A1) receives the CAN message:
"Terminal 15C OFF"
"Standing lamp ON" or "Driving lights ON"
"Left door contact switch (S17/3) open"
Function
The transmitter key (A8/1) is removed from the electronic ignition switch control module (N73).
The left front door is opened.
The rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) detects the open door from the signal of the left door contact (S17/3) and transmits the CAN message "door open" to the instrument cluster (A1) via the interior CAN.
The instrument cluster (A1) detects the CAN message "door open" and "standing lamp ON" or "driving light ON" from the interior CAN. The acoustic light warning function is thus triggered.
The acoustic light warning is not actuated if the transmitter key (A8/1) is set to "Terminal 15R ON" or "Terminal 15 ON".
