- with CODE (255) Audio 30
- with CODE (498) Japanese version
The control buttons and control switches of the function keypad in the radio (A2) are read in by the microcontroller and made available to the central computer. Depending on the system function, the key presses in the central computer can be further processed or notified to additional system components via the D2B or CAN interior (CAN-B) in the form of a data telegram. The radio (A2) switches on if the ON button on the rotary controller is pressed. The volume is regulated at the rotary controller for the audio source adjusted in each case. The main function keys switch over to the audio source desired by the user or telephone. If the user presses the "tone adjustment" function key, the following default settings can be changed:
^ Bass
^ Treble
^ Balance
^ Fader
^ Volume adaptation
The audio source currently being listened to is muted via the "Mute" function key.
The radio output signal is suppressed, the compact-cassette drive goes into pause mode.
The cross rocker (cursor button) can for example be used to search for stations or in order to carry out fixed programmed commands at the respective function level.
If the user operates one of the two search function keys, this function is carried out at the current function level.
