1 Open soft top

DANGER!
- Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury with caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and goggles. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

2 Disconnect ground cable of battery
3 Unclip upper paneling (1) and remove
4 Unscrew screw (2)
5 Unclip lens (3)
6 Press release mechanisms on both sides

NOTE: Release mechanisms are concealed by the lens (3).

7 Detach overhead control panel control module (N70)
8 Unplug connectors
9 Install in the reverse order
10 Perform basic programming
11 Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase
12 Check for proper function
