Function
The signals from the interior central locking switch (N72/1s6) or the 'unlock' CL interior switch (N72/1s16) 'lock' CL interior switch (N72/1s26) are transmitted to the CAN-B bus (CAN-B) by the upper control panel control unit (N72/1).
The EIS control unit (N73) reads in these signals and actuate the locking and unlocking of the central locking (CL) depending on the:
^ status of the central locking (CL)
^ door status (signal of left door contact switch (S17/3) and right door contact switch (S17/4) from rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) via CAN-B (CAN-B))

The fuel filler flap is not locked with this function

Possible situations are:
^ Driver door open:
Locking and unlocking enabled

^ Passenger door open:
No function enabled

^ Driver and passenger door open:
No function enabled

^ After locking from outside with transmitter key:
only locking enabled

^ After unlocking from outside with transmitter key:
Locking and unlocked enabled, if driver and passenger doors are open
