GF80.45-P-2005QA Convenience Opening/Closing With Soft Top Control Button Function
GF80.45-P-2005QA Convenience Opening/closing With Soft Top Control Button Function
Component Identification:
Function requirements
When power window is actuated
^ Circuit 15 ON
^ No overvoltage or undervoltage
When soft top is actuated additionally
^ No faults at outputs for actuating soft top actuators and power windows
^ The temperature of the soft top actuation hydraulic unit (A7/5) is in a valid range.
^ Roll bar actuation not activated
^ Trunk lid closed
^ Trunk partition closed
^ Trunk partition for ski bag closed (with code (282a) Ski bag (through-loading feature))
The convenience closing/opening function is performed even if the windows are not synchronized.
Abort
The convenience closing/opening function is interrupted, if the function requirements mentioned above are no longer fulfilled.
Convenience opening/closing function (vehicles up to model year 08 /YoM 07) with soft top control button (S84/10)
If the soft top control button (S84/10) in the center console is actuated twice within t < 0.5 s and held down, all four side windows close or open
If the soft top control button (S84/10) is actuated only once and held down, all side windows close or open and then the soft top. The actuation request is transmitted by the soft top control button (S84/10) to the soft top mechanism control unit
(N52) and relayed via the interior CAN (CAN B) to the left door control unit (N69/1) as well as right door control unit (N69/2). The left front power window motor (M10/3) is actuated by the l eft door control unit (N69/1), the right front power window motor (M10/4) by the right door control unit (N69/2).
The left rear power window motor (M10/5) and right rear power window motor (M10/6) as well as the soft top mechanism hydraulic unit (A7/5) are actuated directly by the soft top mechanism control unit (N52).
Convenience closing/opening function (vehicles as of model year 09 /YoM 08 with code (494) USA version or code (460) Canada version) with soft top control button (S84/10)
If the soft top control button (S84/10) in the center console is actuated twice within t < 0.5 s and held down, all four side windows open
If the soft top control button (S84/10) is actuated only once and held down, all side windows open and then the soft top opens and closes. The side windows must be closed manually via the driver- side power window switch group (S20/1) or passenger-side power window switch (S21/2)
The actuation request is transmitted by the soft top control button S84/10) to the soft top mechanism control unit (N52) and is relayed via the interior CAN (CAN B) to the left door control u n (N69/1) as well as right door control unit (N69/2).
The left front power window motor (M10/3) is actuated by the left door control unit (N69/1), the right front power window motor (M10/4) by the right door control unit (N69/2).
The left rear power window motor (M10/5) and right rear power window motor (M10/6) as well as the soft top mechanism hydraulic unit (A7/5) are actuated directly by the soft top mechanism control unit (N52).
