GF80.20-P-3006Q Unlocking With Transmitter Key Function

Component Identification:

Preset "Selective" or "Global"
Depending on the presetting on the transmitter key (A8/1), the vehicle is unlocked globally or selectively when the "Unlock" transmit button is pressed.
Conversion in both directions is possible by simultaneously pressing the "Unlock" and "Lock" transmit buttons on the transmitter key (A8/1) for approx. 5 s.

Unlock globally:
The entire vehicle is unlocked (driver door, front passenger door, trunk lid and fuel filler flap)

Unlock selectively:
Only the driver door and the fuel filler flap are unlocked. Only when the "Unlock" button is pressed again, the trunk lid and the passenger door are unlocked

Function sequence shown on example of "Global unlocking"
When the "Unlock" button the transmitter key (A8/1) is pressed, it transmits a signal to the right antenna amplifier module (A2/65) or window antenna amplifier module 1 (A2/71) via radio. This signal is relayed via the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) to the EIS control unit (N73).

Parallel to the radio signal, an infrared signal is transmitted to the left front IR receiver(A26/1) or right front IR receiver (A26/2) (precise aiming required). This signal is read in by the left door control unit (N69/1) or right door control unit (N69/2) and is transmitted to the EIS control module (N73) via the CAN-B bus (CAN-B).

The EIS control unit (N73) checks the access authorization of the transmitter key (A8/1). If the access authorization is valid, the EIS control module (N73) transmits the "Unlocking" command to the CAN-B bus (CAN-B).
The left door control unit (N69/1) actuates the left door CL motor (M14/6), the right door control unit (N69/2) actuates the right door CL motor (M14/5) and the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) the fuel filler flap CL motor (M14/10) an.

The opening request of the exterior actuation trunk lid switch (S88/8) is enabled in the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2)

The interior illumination is switched on by the overhead control panel control module.

Visual feedback
After unlocking the
^ left turn signal lamp (E1e5) and
^ Right turn signal lamp (E2e5)
are actuated by the front SAM control module with fuse and relay module, the
^ left turn signal lamp (E3e1) and
^ Right turn signal lamp (E4e1)
by the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2), the
^ Left outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/5)
left door control unit (N69/1) and
^ Right outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/6)
by the right door control unit (N69/2) once each.

The control is accomplished by the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) (Blinkmaster).
