GF77.30-P-3000QA Soft Top Actuation Interruption, Function

The soft top opening and closing procedure is interrupted immediately (stop function) if the following situations are present:
^ The soft top operating button (S84/10) is released (stop function).
^ The trunk luggage cover is opened (only during "Open soft top" operation).
^ The vehicle speed is greater than approx.4 km/h.

When the stop function is active, both hydraulic cylinders are actuated so that the soft top is held in the corresponding position.

In this case, the motor for the soft top actuating hydraulic unit (A7/5) is switched off.

If the soft top system is the stop mode and the vehicle starts moving faster than approx. 4 km/h, actuation of the hydraulic cylinders is interrupted so that none of the soft top components can be destroyed as a result of the high force from the aerodynamic drag.
If the stop mode time exceeds approx. 7 min, actuation of the hydraulic cylinders is also interrupted so that the soft top hydraulic system is not damaged.
