Remove/install Torsion Bar On Rear Axle







DANGER:
- Lethal injuries are possible if vehicle slips off of lifting platform
- Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer

CAUTION: Replace self-locking nuts and bolts.

1 Detach torsion bar (77) from link rod (78) left and right
2 Unscrew retaining bracket from torsion bar bracket on rear axle carrier (77d)
3 Take off torsion bar (77)

NOTE:
- Pull off rubber mount (2c), check and replace if necessary.
- Do not use grease or sliding compound.

4 Detach link rod (78)
5 Install in the reverse order
