The door control modules are located in the corresponding door paneling.

General
The rear door control modules are connected with the controller area network bus class B (interior compartment) (CAN-B) to exchange data.

Task
The rear door control modules read in the following sensors and switches, actuates their function and instrument illumination and switch subsequent loads via semi-conductor switches.

Rear left door control unit

^ Rear left power window
^ Left rear central locking

^ Hall sensors of left rear power window motor (M10/5)

Reads in the following switches:
^ Left rear power window switch (S21/3) or
^ Left rear seat heater/power window switch group (S51/3) (with code (872) electric seat heater for left and right rear seat)

^ Left rear door entrance/exit lamp (E17/5)
^ Left rear door inside handle illumination (E17/13)
^ Rear left door warning lamp (E17/20)
