Function
The driver front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1) stores the last driving position of the driver seat, steering column and outside mirror. The positions are set, key-related, as of the time the circuit 15C is switched "ON" when the door is closed. The EIS control unit (N73) converts the currently used key track (depending on the transmitter key) (A8/1)) into a memory block number. They are transmitted cyclically via the interior compartment CAN bus. The actual conversion is performed in the driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory actuating the driver seat adjustment motor group with memory (M27).

The following settings undergo key-related storage:
^ Driver's seat position
^ Steering column position
^ Outside rearview mirror position
^ mirror park position
^ Air conditioning settings
^ Settings in instrument cluster
^ Contour for left dynamic seat, incl. multicontour seat, code 433

Moving to a stored position is interrupted when:
^ Undervoltage or overvoltage
^ Manual seat adjustment
^ Manual mirror adjustment
^ Manual steering column adjustment
