If the system detects that an adjustment motor is blocked while an adjustment function was triggered or while a stored position was adjusted, and if there is a defective Hall sensor, the corresponding adjustment function is switched off after t = 2 s by the driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1).

Switching on again in the same adjusting direction is not permitted until the switch has been released for t ≥ 2 s. A restart in the opposite direction of adjustment is possible right away.
