GF91.30-P-2005TX Ventilation Mode Function

GF91.30-P-2005TX Ventilation Mode Function
- with CODE (401) Front luxury seat, including heated seat and seat ventilation

Function requirements
^ Circuit 15 R "ON"
^ Circuit 15 "ON"

Function (described for driver-side)
Pressing the left front seat ventilation switch (N72/1s13) is read in by the upper control panel control unit (N72/1) and relayed to the HS [SIH] and seat ventilation control unit (N25/7) via the interior CAN.

The HS [SIH] and seat ventilation control unit outputs a control voltage to the left front seat ventilation blower regulator (N29/5) depending on the current setting.

Depending on the control voltage, this controls the supply voltage of the left front seat cushion ventilation motor group (M18/9) and the left front seat backrest ventilation motor group (M18/10).

Switch over with switch (explanation at driver-side seat ventilation)
The seat ventilation can be manually switched off or
- switched from ventilation level 3 to ventilation level 2
- switched from ventilation level 2 to ventilation level 1
- by pressing the left front seat ventilation switch

The HS [SIH] and seat ventilation control unit reduces the control voltage to the left front seat ventilation blower regulator and therefore the supply voltage to the left front seat cushion ventilation motor group and the left front seat backrest ventilation motor group accordingly.

The operation and function indicators of the seat ventilation are summarized in the table below.

Switching on seat ventilation in the case of convenience opening
When the windows and sliding roof are opened with the remote control (convenience opening) or by Keyless Go (special equipment), the seat ventilation is switched to ventilation level 3 irrespective of the function conditions. If the seat ventilation has been activated by the convenience opening function, it is automatically switched off again after t = 5 min.
The seat ventilation is switched off again when the vehicle is closed.

Automatic ventilation level switchover (timer control)
The HS [SIH] and seat ventilation control unit has timer control for seat ventilation.

After switching to level 3, level 3 remains active for a period of t = 10 min. Then it switches automatically to stage 2.

After switching to level 2, level 2 remains active for a period of t = 10 min. Then it switches automatically to stage 1.

The ventilation times can be programmed using STAR DIAGNOSIS.
