No particular switchover of dimensional units is to be performed for the trip computer as it takes over the adjustments and codings from the instrument cluster (A1).
The dimensional units (miles/kilometers) in the instrument cluster (A1) are switched over via the selection "Adjustments" in the "instrument cluster" submenu in the multifunction display (A1p13) using the multifunction steering wheel.

The only requirement is to preset the unit of measurement used to monitor the distance (kilometers or miles). The other units that are relevant for the trip computer are then converted automatically.

The coding for US gallons/UK gallons is changed National version with Star Diagnosis.
