Fault Code 9382 After SRS Replacement
If the above model vehicles are experiencing fault code 9382 after SRS replacement which is related to the front passenger belt force limiter (R12/26) or the driver belt force limiter (R12/27), please follow the instructions below to resolve.
Note:
Initial start up has to be performed once (until the error screen at the end of the procedure). Use DAS version 03/07, 04/07, 05/07 or 06/07. To be fixed with DAS version 07/07.
1. Press F6 on the initial DAS mask -> Modifications and New Features (passenger cars) -> F6.
2. Enter the following password: K787RHF99LTB5.
3. Proceed with F2.
4. Enter the control module AB - Airbag
5. Select "Diagnosis to plant specifications" (Figure 1).
6. Select "Control unit adaptations" (Figure 2).
7. Select "Control unit adaptations (Variant coding)" (Figure 3).
8. Select "Zundmittelzuordnungstabelle kodieren" (Figure 4).
9. Select "ZMZ-Tabelle C219 - AJ01/06 mit Kneebag Fahrer (USA)" and confirm with F3 (Figure 5).
10. Select "Zundmittelzuordnungstabelle kodieren (Service)" (Figure 6).
11. Set the marked fragments "S: Gurtkraftbegrenzer Fahrer: Status" and "S: Gurtkraftbegrenzer Beifahrer: Status" to "nicht verwendet" (Figure 7) and "S: Kneebag Fahrer: Status" to "vorhanden, aktiv" (Figure 8).
12. Confirm with F3.
13. Switch off ignition, wait 10 seconds and switch ignition on.
14. Select "Fault memory" (Figure 9).
15. Only stored stored fault codes should remain, delete fault codes with F9.
16. Select "Fault memory" once more, fault memory should be empty.
17. Press F1 until you exit the main menu of AB - Airbag (menu 'Body').
18. Enter the Control module AB-Airbag to start the communication again.
19. Select "Diagnosis to plant specifications" (Figure 1).
20. Select "Actuations" (Figure 10).
21. Select "Steuergerat Verriegeln (FN_SG_Verriegeln)" (Figure 11). Start the action with F3 (Result should be 1).
22. Switch off ignition, wait 10 seconds and switch ignition on.
23. Procedure completed.
