Infrared Comfort Opening/Closing Intermittently Inoperative

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles with either of the following symptoms during infrared comfort opening/closing, this may be due to a fault in the door control unit parameterization.

^ Window(s) do not move when comfort feature is activated

^ Window(s) stops too early during comfort feature actuation

To resolve, using Star Diagnosis, follow menu path: Control units --> Seats and Doors --> DCM-FX - Door control module front XXXX --> Symptoms for system --> Select either symptom "Function 'Convenience opening/closing': Power window raising/lowering does not start" or "Function 'Convenience opening/closing': Power window raising/lowering aborts". Then follow further instructions in Star Diagnosis.

Note:
Perform normalization to both driver side and passenger side front door control modules.
