GF72.29-P-4004T Power Window Obstruction Sensor, Function
Obstruction sensor for window raising
The obstruction sensor is only effective during automatic raising and in the normalized state.
The obstruction sensor is active under the following conditions:
^ during automatic raising and beginning at a pinching force of 60 N
^ in the range of 3 to 230 mm inside window opening
If the signal for automatic raising is active at time of pinching, the drive is stopped immediately. If the non-actuated state is then recognized, the window is opened by s=10 mm.
If the signal "Button in non-actuated state" is recognized during pinching, the window is opened 70 mm (measured at right angle to window)
The time span from detection of the obstruction until reversal of the drive motor is t < 20 ms.
These functions are controlled by the left front door control module (N69/1), right front (N69/2), left rear (N69/3) or right rear (N69/4).
Adaptation reference values in control module
Since the window lift mechanism becomes hard to move in the course of the time, an adaptation is accomplished in the left front door control module (N69/1), right front (N69/2), left rear (N69/3) or right rear (N69/4) during each raising and lowering function in the normalized state. For this purpose, the pulse pattern of the Hall signals just received is compared with the last received and stored data (old reference values) and stored as new reference if it is within the permissible tolerance range.
This adaptation is not performed if:
^ pinching is recognized or
^ the power window is blocked.
The stored values are retained even after the supplied voltage is disconnected or if denormalization is performed.
On model 211.6, the number of the power window motors and door control modules in the rear can vary depending on the equipment and special body
