Disassembling and assembling hollow shaft





Disassembling





1. Pull small tapered roller bearing (19b) off hollow shaft (19) using puller (029). To do this, place thrust piece (030) on hollow shaft (19).





2. Pull large tapered roller bearing (19c) off hollow shaft (19) using puller (029). To do this, place 1 thrust piece (031) on hollow shaft (19).





3. Pull needle bearing (19a) out of hollow shaft (19). To do this, useful internal extractor (028) and countersupport (016).

Assembling





4. Press needle bearing (19a) into hollow shaft (19) using drift (027).





5. Press large needle bearing (19c) onto hollow shaft (19) using sleeve (014). The "B" marking on the drift must point towards the bearing.
6. Press small needle bearing (19b) onto hollow shaft (19) using sleeve (014). The "A" marking on the drift must point towards the bearing.
