AR54.21-P-0100TA Remove/Install Vehicle Power Supply Control Module







1.1 Switch ignition off, withdraw ignition key
1.2 Switch off engine and remove Keyless Go transmitter key from vehicle

NOTE: Keep Keyless Go transmitter key out of transmission range

2 Disconnect ground cable from auxiliary battery
3 Remove trim panel of rear center section
4 Remove battery cover (1)
5.1 Remove TIREFIT box (2) from spare wheel recess
5.2 Remove spare wheel from spare wheel recess
6 Unscrew screws (3) from tool box (4)
7 Unclip tool box (4) from spare wheel well using mounting wedge (5) and remove

See "Special Tools" given below.

8 Remove expanding clips (6)

NOTE: Installation: Install new expanding clips (6) to replace damaged ones.

9 Raise spare wheel recess trim panel (7) until battery control module (N82) can be accessed

NOTE: Support spare wheel recess trim panel (7) using a suitable object.

10 Disconnect ground cable (8) from battery control module (N82)

NOTE: Installation: All electrical consumers must be switched off.

- Nut, ground lead to battery control module: 12 N.m

11 Unscrew bolt (9)
12 Unscrew bolt (10).
- Bolt, battery control module to body: 20 N.m

13 Unplug electrical connector (11) and remove battery control module (N82)
14 Install in the reverse order
15 Read out DTC memory
16 Download basic STAR DIAGNOSIS data
17 Perform basic programming
