The recess on the inside of the trunk lid is intended to position the hole for the antenna.

Component Identification:

1. Measure recess (b) and determine dimension (c).

Dimension (c) is one half of recess (b).

2. Mark center point for antenna hole.

3. Drill dia. 17.5 mm antenna hole on trunk lid.

Observe specified diameter for antenna hole, otherwise the antenna cannot be fastened in the trunk lid. STEP drill bit.

4. Cut out antenna hole on trunk lid in corners (arrows).
5. Clean working area with wet/dry vacuum cleaner. Wet and dry vacuum cleaner.
