AR91.50-P-0010-01R Pretension Gas-operated Strut On Roll Bar Support Element

Lever for pressing down the gas-operated strut on the support element of the roll bar

Special Tools:

1. Clamp left support element (1) in a vise.

Use protective jaws, otherwise the left support element (1) could be damaged.

2. Remove bushing (2) from attachment bore (5).
3. Put an appropriate lever (4) into the attachment bore (5) at the toothed rack (3) to press down the gas-operated strut (9).
4. Unlock retracting spring (6) using an appropriate screwdriver (7) in direction of arrow (arrow A) and simultaneously press together the gas-operated strut (9) in direction of arrow (arrow B) with the lever (4) and the aid of an assistant.
5. Insert the assembly aid (8).

The left support element (1) is ready to be installed because of the pre-compressed gas-operated strut (9).
