Power Distribution Module: Service and Repair

AR54.21-P-0100R Remove/Install Vehicle Power Supply Control Module
- except CODE (P99) "AMG Black Series" special model






1 Close Vario roof fully with the Vario roof switch

NOTE: See Operating instructions

2 Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and store the basic data from the vehicle power supply control module (N82/1) in STAR DIAGNOSIS on an intermediate basis
- Only when replacing the vehicle power supply control module (N82/1).

NOTE: Installation: Transfer basic data stored on an intermediate basis to the new vehicle power supply control module (N82/1).

3 Disconnect ground leads from battery
4 Remove side paneling in trunk

NOTE: Only remove the right paneling.

5 Unclip cover (1)
6 Unscrew nut (2) and remove the electrical lines (5) from the vehicle power supply control module (N82/1)

NOTE: Installation: Observe installation sequence of electrical lines (5).

7 Unscrew nut (4) and remove electrical lines (3) from the vehicle power supply control module (N82/1)

NOTE: Installation: Observe installation sequence of electrical lines (3).

8 Disconnect plug and socket connection (6)
9 Unscrew nuts (7) and remove vehicle power supply control module (N82/1)
10 Install in the reverse order.
