The oil pressure sensor is located on the side of the valve body.

Task
The start-up clutch oil pressure sensor acquires the pilot control pressure for the start-up clutch control solenoid valve (Y3/8y9).

Function
The start-up clutch oil pressure sensor is connected to the fully integrated transmission control unit (VGS) via a three-wire wiring harness. Two lines provide the supply voltage for the oil pressure sensor.

A further line transmits the pressure signal acquired by the start-up clutch oil pressure sensor in the form of a signal voltage proportional to the pressure which is made available to the fully integrated transmission control unit (VGS).
