Doorman function
The following stowage compartments can be locked or unlocked with the lock cylinder at the right next to the opening button of the glove compartment and the mechanical key (emergency key).
^ Glove compartment
^ Right and left rear box
^ Center console stowage compartment

The position of the stowage compartment switch (S85) is read in by the passenger SAM control unit (N10/11). The front passenger side SAM control unit transmits a signal to PSE control unit (combined) (A37) which locks and unlocks the stowage compartments by actuating the corresponding pneumatic actuators via the controller area network bus, Class B (interior) (CAN B).

This function cannot be canceled by the transmitter key (A8/1).

Automatic function
The stowage compartments, if they are not locked via the stowage compartment switch, are locked and unlocked simultaneously when the central locking (CL) is locked or unlocked.
