Risk of breakage: Do not kink or stretch fiber optic cables and do not route them over sharp edges. The bending radius must not be smaller than 25 mm. Clamps or cable ties for securing the fiber optic cables must not be fastened too tightly.

1 Insert SDAR control unit (1) using studs (11) as per picture into holes on bracket (12) and fasten to bracket (12) using nuts (13).







2 Only vehicles with sound system (code 810)
- Fit sound amplifier (A2/13) on stud of bracket (12) as per picture and secure to bracket (12) using nuts (47).
- Connect sound amplifier connector (44) and fiber optic cable connector (45) to sound amplifier (A2/13).

All vehicles

3 Position bracket (12) with SDAR control unit (1) on weld stud as per picture.
4 Secure bracket (12) to weld stud using plastic nut (48).
5 Secure bracket (12) to longitudinal member using bolt (43).
6 Connect antenna plug (9) of antenna extension line (8) as per picture onto SDAR control unit (1).
7 Connect coupling housing (63) with SDAR wiring harness and MOST fiber optic cable to SDAR control unit (1) as per picture.
8 Attach self-adhesive felt as chafe protection to edges (see arrows) of bracket (12).
9 On vehicles with model year 2006 (code 806) without sound system (code 810), fit styrofoam block on bracket (12) in place of sound amplifier (A2/13).
