On vehicles with code (242b) electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory the code (275c) electrically adjustable driver seat, steering column and outside mirror with memory is a compulsory fitment.

Manual steering column adjustment

The position of the steering column is manually adjustable. Setting options:
^ Longitudinal position of steering column and
^ Height of steering column.

Store steering column position manually

The memory function can be used to store and call up different steering column positions.

In addition the current position of the driver seat and position of the outside mirrors are also stored.

Easy entry/exit

The easy entry/exit function makes it easier for the driver to get in and out due to the steering column which is moved upwards and the driver seat which is moved back. Subsequently the last driving position assigned to the respective transmitter key is approached.

The easy entry/exit function can be activated in the instrument cluster (A1).

Normalizing

The steering column must be normalized for the automatic functions and position storage.
