- MODEL 203 except CODE (600a) Headlamp cleaning system






The heated windshield washer wiring harness is delivered with tie-outs for air conditioning system and headlamp cleaning system.These tie-outs are not routed to the affected components. Tie back and insulate.

1 Connector on front SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1)
2 Clutch
3 Clutch
B12/2 Connector for pressure and temperature sensor
M5/2 Connector for HCS pump
M13 Connector for coolant circulation pump
W9 Ground (left front headlamp unit)
W16/6 Ground (electronics ground - component compartment - right)

3 Air conditioning connector
4 Gasket
5 Absorber
11 Door sill molding
12 Edge protection
13 Screw
14 Cover of A-pillar
N10/1 Front SAM control module with fuse and relay module

1 Remove seal (4)
2 Remove absorber (5).
3 Remove door sill molding (11)
4 Remove edge guard (12) in area of A-pillar paneling
5 Unscrew bolt (13)
Unclip cap from A-pillar cover (14).

6 Unclip A-pillar cover (14) and remove
7 Open wiring duct on entrance panel.
8 Pull tie-outs with connectors (2, 3) into passenger compartment through wiring duct below absorber
9 Route connectors (2, 3) into wiring duct.
Insulate connectors. Route leads without kinking or chafing and tie with cable straps.






10 Insert connector (1).
Plug location M15.

11 Install seal (4) on wiring harness in front of SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
12 Insulate tie-outs for pressure and temperature sensor (B12/2), HCS pump (M5/2) and ground (left headlamp unit) (W9), tie and route to area below master brake cylinder.

M13 Heating water circulation pump
W16/6 Ground (electronics ground - component compartment - right)

13 Open wiring duct (8)
Wiring duct below battery console.

14 Open wiring duct (9).
15 Route wiring harness with tie-outs for electronic ground (right of component compartment (W16/6) and coolant circulation pump (M13) connector to wiring duct (8) below master brake cylinder on firewall.
16 Route tie-outs through wiring duct (9).
17 Screw on electronic ground, right of component compartment (W16/6).
18 Connect connector (10) to coolant circulation pump (M13).
19 Connect tie-outs to present wiring harness.
20 Reassemble in opposite order.
