GF54.30-P-2013PPM Output Acoustic Warning Messages, Function
- MODEL 203.0 /2 /7 as of 24.4.04 up to Model Year 8 Warnsummer

The instrument cluster (A1) has a warning buzzer (A1h1), which issues a warning sound in the event of certain faults or operating conditions.
A warning chime is emitted:
- If status "Circuit 15C ON" occurs, i.e. the transmitter key (A8/1) is inserted in the EIS [EZS] control unit (N73) and the driver door is opened. The message "circuit 15C ON" comes via the Controller Area Network bus class B (interior) (CAN-B) from the electronic ignition switch control unit (N73), the door contact signal comes from the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
- When a category 1 or category 2 warning message is displayed in the multifunction display (A1p13).
- When the brake fluid and parking brake warning lamp (A1e7) lights up, when the parking brake is not released at a speed of 5 km/h or mph. The signal to actuate comes from the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) via the CAN-B.
- When the standing lamp was switched on automatically, the status "Circuit 15R OFF" is present and the driver door is open. The message "circuit 15R OFF" comes from the EIS [EZS] control unit (N73) via the CAN-B, the door contact signal comes from the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and the signal for automatic driving lamps comes from the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
- When the standing lamp was switched on manually, the transmitter key (A8/1) was removed and the driver door is open. The message "circuit 15C ON" comes via the CAN-B from the electronic ignition switch control unit (N73), the door contact signal comes from the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and the standing lamp signal comes from the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
- On vehicles with code (623) Gulf States version when a speed of 120 km/h is exceeded. The warning tone is muted as soon as the speed drops below 117 km/h again.
- On vehicles with Code (498) Japan version and with Code (494) USA version, when the seat belt warning lamp (A1e9) is activated. The signal to activate comes from the restraint systems control unit (N2/7) via the CAN-B.
- On vehicles without Code (498) Japan version and without Code (494) USA version, when the seat belt warning lamp (A1e9) is activated. The warning tone sounds intermittently (temporarily off and then back on in intervals of t on = 5 seconds and t off = 3 seconds) until either the maximum activation time of t = 93 seconds has elapsed or the seat belt warning lamp (A1e9) goes out.

The warning tone sequence of the seat belt reminder warning on vehicles except Code (498) Japan version and except Code (494) USA version is immediately switched off once the driver and/or front passenger have fastened their seat belts. The maximum actuation time of t = 93 seconds continues running in the background. If a belt is unfastened within this time, the warning chime sequence is output again.
The seat belt reminder warning is issued once for the journey, but can be set active again when:
- Vehicle speed higher than 5 km/h
- Status change of driver door ("OPEN", "CLOSED")
