GF54.50-P-0001PM Trip Computer (TRIP), Function
- MODEL 203.0 /2 /7 as of 24.4.04 up to Model Year 8

The trip computer (TRIP) is integrated in the instrument cluster (A1). The display is issued via the multifunction display (A1p13) of the instrument cluster (A1). There is the possibility of accessing 2 different data memories. The contents of the short-distance memory are shown on the multifunction display (A1p13) in the "Since Start" screen, the contents of the long-distance memory are shown on the multifunction display (A1p13) in the "Since reset" screen.
The transmitter key (A8/1) must be in position 2 (circuit 15 ON) before the trip computer (TRIP) is operational. The following functions are provided by the trip computer (TRIP):
- Display and calculation of the likely range
- Display of fuel tank contents
- Display and calculation of average fuel consumption
- Display of distance traveled
- Display the trip time

The data on the average fuel consumption, the travel time and the travel distance are stored separately in the short-distance memory and long-distance memory. Another screen in the multifunction display (A1p13) shows the fuel level and the estimated travel range together. The screen last displayed appears on the multifunction display (A1p13) when the trip computer (TRIP) is called up again.

Operation
The driver operates the trip computer (TRIP) using the system selection button (S110s3) and the scroll forward/back button (S110s1) of the multifunction steering wheel and the Instrument illumination rheostat (A1r1) of the instrument cluster (A1).

The instrument cluster (A1) receives all the information needed for the functions of the trip computer (TRIP) via the Controller Area Network bus class B (interior) (CAN-B).
