E15/3 Rear passenger compartment lamp
E15/3e3 Dome lamp

Function sequence for actuation of dome lamp integrated into overhead control panel control module
1 Basic prerequisites:
- Dome lamp switch (N70s3) in position "Automatic actuation ON" or in position "Automatic actuation OFF".
- Passenger compartment lighting switched off

2 The overhead control panel control module (N70) monitors the dome lamp switch position
3 The overhead control panel control module recognizes that the dome lamp switch has been switched to the position "Dome lamp ON" and immediately actuates the front dome lamp (N70e1) without the fade-on feature.

One additional dome lamp (E15/6 and E15/7) each is installed above the driver and passenger sun visors which is switched on in the associated sun visor when the mirror cover is folded down.

Function sequence for actuation of dome lamp integrated into rear passenger compartment lamp
1 Basic prerequisites:
- Rear dome lamp switch (N70s2) in position "Dome lamp OFF"

2 The overhead control panel control module (N70) monitors the position of the rear dome lamp switch.
3 The overhead control panel control module recognizes that the rear dome lamp switch has been switched to the position "Dome lamp ON" and immediately actuates the dome lamp (N70e1) without the fade-on feature.
