F. Connecting the Linear Compensator and MHI Control Module

1. Place the linear compensator/MHI control module bracket assembly near its mounting point (Figure 23).

2. Connect the MHI power supply connector to the MHI control module (A, Figure 23).

3. Connect the MHI MOST connector to the MHI control module (B, Figure 23).





4. Mount the front of the bracket assembly with two MS x 11 self-tapping screws to the trunk reinforcement panel (A, Figure 24) and one 8 mm flange nut to the threaded stud on the right quarter panel interior (B, Figure 24).





5. Connect the right-angled, female FAKRA connector to the linear compensator jack labeled ANTENNA" (A, Figure 25).

6. Connect the straight, male FAKRA connector to the linear compensator jack labeled PORTABLE" (B, Figure 25).

7. Connect the power supply connector to the linear compensator (C, Figure 25).
